Severely Ill Woman Learns Her Surgeon is Her Husband’s Ex-Wife He Heartlessly Left 10 Years Ago – Story of the Day
Sarah had all the best in life until her health started to deteriorate. When she needed emergency surgery, she learned that the person who was about to do it was her husband’s ex-wife whom he painfully abandoned ten years prior.
Sarah and Connor loved each other dearly. They lived life happily and raised their darling daughter together. However, one day, Sarah started to feel ill, and Connor had to rush her to the hospital.
While they were there, the doctors diagnosed her with a rare stomach illness. “I’m sorry, Sarah, but there’s no cure for this illness just yet. We will give you maintenance medicine, but there’s no guarantee it will work,” the doctor said.
The doctor also told her that her condition could worsen, and if it did, she’d need a complicated surgery.

Unfortunately for Sarah, the maintenance medicine could only do so much. One day, she was reporting to her bosses when she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her abdomen. Her boss, Gerald, called for an ambulance and informed her husband that she was on the way to the hospital.
Connor immediately picked up their eight-year-old from school and rushed to the hospital. Gerald felt responsible for what had happened, so he followed to the hospital as well.
They all arrived at the hospital in a span of minutes. Connor gave Sarah a kiss on the forehead, assuring her that everything would be okay. There, a nurse yelled for a certain Doctor Hamilton.
“You need surgery as soon as possible or else an infection might happen,” she told Sarah as she lay on a hospital bed. Meanwhile, Connor and Sarah looked at each other in horror, not because of the surgery that was bound to happen, but the name of the doctor they mentioned.

“Do you have any other surgeon? Doctor Hamilton might not be willing to do the operation,” Connor said. He knew that the surgeon they were referring to was his ex-wife, Marian Hamilton.
