Days ago, Michael Jackson’s youngest son, Blanket “Bigi” Jackson, initiated legal proceedings against his grandmother, Katherine Jackson. This surprising action is one of the latest events in the ongoing dispute over Michael’s estate.

The conflict escalated after Katherine responded by accusing the executors of the estate of exerting undue influence over the estate’s funds, limiting the distribution to its beneficiaries — including herself and her grandchildren.

Katherine’s allegations against the estate’s executors are stark and to the point. The documents claim, “It seems clear to [Katherine] that the Executors are holding all of the assets in the Estate in order to keep control over them and to avoid the more liberal distribution requirements of the Trust.”
